Long Tuesday

So….tuesday’s aren’t particularily hard for me; I only have one class after all. But my friends and I had made a pact that we would try to eat healthier and actually try to work out. So we try to go to the gym a few times a week and we decided to try pilates at the Siegel Center twice a week. So pilates is on tuesdays and thursdays and today was a pilates day. So my class is at 2 and pilates is at 11. I live on the MCV campus in Cabinass, so we have to leave early to catch the bus and get to the main campus on time. My friend has a class at 9 and wanted us to meet her at 10 so she wouldn’t have to wait on campus by herself. So my other friend and I had to get up around 8:45 so we can leave around 9:30 to get to campus at 10 and meet our friend before pilates at 11. Now, mind you, my class isn’t until 2 in the afternoon. My friend and I get to campus, tired as hell around 10 and sit with our friend at the commons until around 10:40 and then head to the siegel center for PILATES!! So, we look forward to the pilates class, cause it’s fun and hilarious when us and the people around us can’t do the moves the teacher is showing us. Pilates class ends at 12 and I decide to go with my friends to their 12:35 class since I have nothing else better to do with my time until 2. We get out of that class at 1:45 and head to Bio class at 2, where we have our first quiz. After Bio, we all head to the commons to have lunch/dinner, since it is 3 o’clock. We sit and talk for about an hour before my one friend goes to class and we head back to cabinass where I go take a 3 hour nap since I had been up since 8:45!!!! When I get up, I’m super hungry and we head to shafer and now here I am writing this in my blog because I guess, I have nothing else to write about.

MLK Weekend

So….you would think this past weekend would have been great because we had no school Monday, but quite the contrary….it was rather uneventful. First of all, all but one of my friends decided to pick this past weekend to go back home and I was left on my own…to fend for myself. I had one friend who kept me company somewhat…when she wasn’t with her boyfriend of course, lol. So, on Saturday…I got up, ran some errands, got some food from Qdoba and went back to my dorm. I decided then would be the perfect time to do some homework…so I mapped out what I was going to do, grabbed my books and started. Then I decided to do some laundry while I did homework, and that really consisted of my day. Later on that night, my friend came back from being with her boyfriend and we went down to the guys floor and chilled with them and watched them play cards. After staying up pretty late and just hanging out, we went to bed. On Sunday, I pretty much did the same thing…minus the laundry, of course. I went out for some pizza, did some homework and watched a marathon of the Style Network’s What Not to Wear. Then my friend came back from her boyfriends again and we chilled, again, lol. So we played some cards, computer games, watched a little tv, then I decided to sleep in her room and we went to bed. On Monday, she kicked me out of her room to go see her boyfriend and what did I do? Homework of course and more television. So this is where it gets more interesting, my friend and I were sitting in the kitchen and I was eating a box of my much loved Wheat Thins, when this guy we know, who just happens to be an R.A. on one of the guy floors in our building, comes in and takes my Wheat Thins! So I figured he would bring them back, and fifteen minutes later, sure enough, he didn’t bring them back. So my friend and I go to his room to get them back and he denies ever taking them! Even though not only did we see him, but these two girls who were with us saw him too! Now before you get to upset…it isn’t that serious, I wasn’t that mad, we were just having a little fun. So after going back and forth and him still denying that he ever took them, a war commenced, lol. He hid them, then tried to run from us when we said we were going to get “weapons.” So we spent like an hour trying to track him down and chasing him through our building. It was serious fun, I must admit. He ended up giving back the Wheat Thins, but right after giving them back, he took my friends laptop! We went to confront him….and what did he do? Deny it, again. We knew he took it and so we planned our revenge that was carried out this morning. When he asked us about it when we saw him today….of course we were like, “What are you talking about?” So, in the end, in case you haven’t figured it out, a war has broken out between us and him, and I am told some other have joined in on his cause….so it’s definately on! Victory shall be ours!!! I’ll keep you posted on the outcome.
